The V460-H is an Ultra rugged industrial direct-park mark (DPM) Industrial reader that is setting new standards in decoding performance and network connectivity with built-in Ethernet protocols.

Industry-leading direct-part mark (DPM) reading performance with OMRON’s X-Mode decoding algorithms, built-in liquid lens, time-of-flight technology and patented multi-axis lighting technology gives the V460-H superior read rates on the most challenging of codes on a variety of part geometries, materials and surfaces.

Ruggedized Hardware

The V460-H has been designed to withstand harsh production environments increasing throughput and operating efficiency. Fully compliant ISO Chemical resistant thanks to its IP-65 housing, additionally the V460-H can withstand 50 drops to concrete from 2 metres.

Enhanced ergonomics and design for operators

Simple point-and-click targeting with audible, haptic/vibration, and multi-directional visual indicators for real-time operator feedback. With OMRON's X-Mode imaging technology, the toughest of direct part-marked codes can be read with a point-and-shoot decode performance.

Industrial Connectivity

The V460-H can easily connect to networks and PLCs thanks to built-in industrial protocols. Numerous communication methods are supported by the V460-H.

Intelligent Multi-Axis Auto Lighting

The V460-H incorporates a multi-axis illumination system designed to ensure reliable decoding of the toughest direct part marks (DPM) and labels.

• Dome Lighting: Red, green, and blue LEDs (allowing any RGB combination).

• Low-Angle Lighting: Red LEDs (north, south and north + south).

• Torch Lighting: White LEDs.

Dome Illumination

Dome Illumination provides diffused, uniform light in RGB colours that can be combined to achieve additional colours:

• Red

• Green

• Blue

• Yellow (Red + Green)

• Magenta (Red + Blue)

• Cyan (Green + Blue)

• White (Red + Green + Blue)

Dome Illumination adds another dimension of decode optimization for direct part marks. Using the opposite light spectrum as a part’s surface colour will make the part feature appear darker. Using the same light spectrum will make the part feature appear lighter
