Update impact of Ukraine/Russia situation

OMRON has suspended shipments to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus until further notice.

As announced on March 14, 2022, our operations in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus are currently restricted by additional international sanctions targeting Russia and Belarus, limited logistical connections between Europe, Belarus and Ukraine and unsure remittance networks from Russia to Europe. In light of this situation, we have suspended our shipments to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus until further notice.

On the procurement side, we can report that there currently is no impact on our procurement and production:

• we have no supplier production bases in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus,
• our major suppliers of raw materials, rare metals, etc. at this moment confirmed sufficient inventory and expect no impacts,
• since Ukraine is the main source of neon gas used in the semiconductor wafer process, we performed investigation amongst major semiconductor suppliers that confirms that they experience no major impact in their production.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and collect and share information if the situation changes.
