Robot Service Engineer

As Robot Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers primarily based on After Sales Support for Italian region. It's preferable if the candidate lives in Turin area.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing onsite services for customers and system vendors
  • Hotline support for customers in the above-mentioned area
  • Planning and executing repairs in OMRON facilities (inhouse repairs)
  • Planning, organizing and executing seminars/trainings at an OMRON facility or at customer site
  • Preparing, continuing and extending service documentation
  • Preparing information for quotations about possible service performances and offers
  • Entering and follow-up data in the CRM system as well in all OMRON requested Systems / Software’s
  • Consulting customers concerning a service strategy
  • Reporting quality defects and problems (quality control, engineering)
  • Active registration in the CRM system and corresponding database maintenance of products installed at the customer
  • Supporting other locations in Europe, Middle-East or Africa (EMEA) when requested and needed

Education, skills and experience:

  • Completed apprenticeship in mechatronics/electrotechnics
  • Further education as technician or Bachelor of Engineering
  • Engineering Degree will have a preference
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of robot hardware mechanics and electronics
  • Know how in automation (PLC, Vision)
  • Know how in programming of robot systems
  • Good level of English is mandatory (spoken and written, it is the main language) and local language high skills
  • Good Communication skills to be able to communicate with Global team
  • Team player
  • Driving license class B
