E32 fibre-optic sensors series optimized

01/12/2010

New heat- and chemical-resistant models have been added to the already comprehensive E32 range of fibre-optic sensors. The new sensors are ideally suited to meet the needs of machine builders, and are specifically designed to offer long life and high performance in even the most demanding of environments.
Typical applications for our new fibre-optic sensors include hygienic filling areas in pharmaceutical plants, food and beverage preparation equipment and filling machines, and chemical treatment areas in semiconductor manufacturing plants.

Heat resistance fibre-optic sensor

The new E32-_51R heat-resistant fibre-optic sensors combine the ability to withstand temperatures of up to 100ºC with a minimum fibre bending radius of just 2 mm. This means that they can be used in hot environments and that they can be installed easily even in applications where space is restricted. The new sensors complement the existing fibre-optic sensors in the E32 range, which include types suitable for use at up to 400ºC.

Chemical resistance fibre-optic sensor

For applications where the sensors could be exposed to chemicals or detergents, we offer products in the E32-_11F series. These products are resistant to the effects of all commonly encountered solvents and cleaning agents. The fibre-optic sensors series are manufactured using a new technique that provides enhanced production flexibility and, therefore, even better value for money for you as a user.

Choose the performance you need

With the addition of these new fibre-optic sensors, we can now offer you a full range of optical sensing solutions to match your requirements at all levels. From the most cost-sensitive applications right up to the most demanding.
